What We Do
Tucson audiences clearly enjoy Darwin’s rich baritone voice and his warm personal magnetism whether on stage, at a dinner house, at a dance or a private party. Together, we share an eclectic mix of both mellow and upbeat music from the 1930's-1960's, including Jazz, Pop, Blues, R&B, Show Tunes, using backing tracks. We design a unique, custom show for your specific occasion.
Darwin has been an active part of Tucson’s arts community for forty years, as both a professional singer and an actor. He was a part of the 1987 Artist Ambassadors Concert Tour of the Soviet Union, has been a resident member of the Southern Arizona Light Opera Company, and in 2012 toured Italy with the Sons of Orpheus Male Choir of Tucson, singing a Sunday Mass at the Vatican. In 2016 IDarwin toured France with Orpheus including concerts at the Cathedral de Notre Dame and Angers, and is currently one of its Tenor soloist.
Darwin & Evolution provides an eclectic mix of live music, known as "Ballards, Blues, Bossas & Boggies," at restaurants, private parties, retirement communities, and public events of all kinds, tailored to your specific needs.

Darwin is a featured soloist at local churches, and also performs sacred music for weddings, funerals, "Coming of Age Ceremonies" and public events ...and the party after!

Gerry is an ordained Interfaith minister (1994), and completed her ministerial internship at Tucson's St. Francis in the Foothills UMC. Together with Darwin, she designs and performs custom ceremonies to celebrate all the important occasions throughout life.
